About The Company and Our Logo
Parachuting Camel Productions is a Winnipeg theater company. It was established in 2018. Our first show was the radio play Letters By Brian Langlotz in 2018. Parachuting Camel Productions came about as a representation of the playwright’s grandfather who taught parachuting in the military, and rode on camels while peacekeeping in Egypt. The Logo Drawn by Mathew Wall, incorporates elements that represents soldiers in the the Playwrights family. The parachuting camel represents Paul Langlotz, the 51st Anti Tank represents Ricahrd Collins, and the 270 and shape of the logo represents James Newton Porter.
Meet The Playwright
Born in 1988, Winnipeg Playwright Brian Langlotz is no stranger to the local theatre scene. To his credit he has been a Stage Manager with multiple groups such as NKCP, Dramatic Theatre, and Broken Record Productions, and for the last ten years he has been involved with The Winnipeg Fringe. In 2017 he was the stage manager for the country band The Wilkinson’s. Brian has also been involved with many acting roles in television shows, multiple commercials including larger movie productions. The love of the theatre has brought Brian to his current role as President and Founder of the Parachuting Camel Productions, thorough which he has debuted his first official play, ‘Letters’ at the 2019 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. He will be debuting his second play "Letters: War Within" Later this year.
