Letters: War Within

"Letters: War Within" is written by Winnipeg playwright Brian Langlotz. "Letters: War Within" began after producing his his first show "Letters". "Letters: War Within" is inspired by real events of World War Two, and Military Personnel in the playwright's own family. Follow the journey of Paul, Betty, and their loved ones as they wrestle through the physical and emotional repercussions of his time in Italy during the war. After all, just because a soldier comes home, doesn't mean the war is over.

 

 

"Letters: War Within" is a sequel to the popular original play, "Letters", and explores the various aspects of Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as experienced from the protagonist of the play. After the war having PTSD was considered a pariah. "Letters: War Within" was written to help bring awareness of whatour veterans and current military personnel go through. PTSD, and mental health in general, is sadly still a pariah in society these days, and I want to help people feel more comfortable to talk about it. The original play, Letters, was originally conceived as a radio play, which was produced, recorded,
