Brian Langlotz
Playwright/Producer/Director
Winnipeg Playwright Brian Langlotz is no stranger to the local theatre scene. To his credit he has been a Stage Manager with multiple groups such as NKCP, Dramatic Theatre, and Broken Record Productions, and for the last ten years he has been involved with The Winnipeg Fringe. In 2017 he was the stage manager for the country band The Wilkinson’s. Brian has also been involved with many acting roles in television shows, multiple commercials including larger movie productions. The love of the theatre has brought Brian to his current role as President and Founder of the Parachuting Camel Productions, thorough which he debuted his first official play, ‘Letters’ at the 2019 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. He debuted his second play "Letters: War Within" in 2024

Duncan Storozuk

Duncan has performed in a number of Fringe Festival shows, such as Little Shop of Horrors in 2023, Shelf Control in 2024, and Tycho Freakin' Brahe in 2025. Having acted in Letters two times previously, he is honoured and excited to be bringing the story to the Fringe stage. He would like to dedicate this run to his late grandfather, Victor Wice, who taught much of the World War Two history he knows.
Jen Gieg

Jen Gieg is a recent graduate at the University of Winnipeg, with Honours degree in Theatre and Film. She is also a proud alumni of the Black Hole Theatre Company at the University of Manitoba. Selected credits include but are not limited to: The 39 Steps (Hood and Dagger Productions), Glitterbomb (Yet Another Venture, Winnipeg Fringe), White Girls in Moccasins (University of Winnipeg), Captain Ted: Disabled Pirate (Strokes of Genius, Winnipeg Fringe), The Drowning Girls (University of Winnipeg), A Work In Progress (Crosswalk Productions, Winnipeg Fringe) Scorched (University of Manitoba), and Unity 1918 (University of Manitoba). She really hopes you enjoy the show, and would like to thank their friends, all cast and crew, and her absolutely incredible partner Andreas.

I am Aylin Kohan and I have loved performing for as long as I can remember. There is simply t something so eternal about art, whether it is film, poetry, painting or even fashion and makeup. They are a sign of the times while simultaneously setting trends that define the times. I started out with theatre in middle and high school and made some of my own short movies and projects, and have plans to make many more. I did performance poetry as well as background acting and each experience has taught me something new and incredible. I get to experience so many selves. Acting is, for me, a form of self expression and I feel very alive while performing on stage.

Jennifer is an aspiring actress that is constantly looking for opportunities in Canada's film, television, and theatre industry to bring characters to life. This is her first collaboration with Brian Langlotz and on a Canadian stage. Previously, she has background actor experience on the set of November 1963, a music video appearance in Boy Golden's Suffer, Stage Crew/Hair & Make up experience on a Hood and Dagger production of the Haunting of Hill House. You can also catch her playing a "Diner" at another fringe show - The Glass Between Us. Stay tuned for where she'll be next!
Christopher Campbell

Christopher, is a professional butcher by trade, with 18 years experience and employed with Red River Co-op. He is also a song writer and guitarist. His hobbies also include other arts like videography, photography and media entertainment.
Jonathan Bailey

Jonathan William Bailey is a Winnipeg-based actor and multidisciplinary artist exploring the meeting point of theatre, light, and sound. He trained with Celee Productions, performing Lee in *True West*, and continues building his on-camera experience in film and television productions.
Alongside acting, Jonathan creates immersive holistic light and performance art rooted in presence, atmosphere, and emotional depth. With live production experience supporting the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, he brings a collaborative spirit and sensitivity to every stage and set.
Andreas Detillieux
Private James Morrison
Andreas is in his 5th year of university on his way to completing Honours Psychology, with a minor in Theatre. He's been doing theatre since middle school and plans to continue pursuing it until as long as he can! His acting experience includes Arcadia (2022), Seeds (2022), Rhinoceros (2023), The Dumbwaiter (2024) and Most recently Shattered (2025) at the University of Manitoba. Other recent projects include If Day (2025), Murder In the 4th Degree (2023), in the Winnipeg Fringe, The Mousetrap (2024) with the Dramatic Theatre Company, and Un Peu Partout! (Here and There!) (2025) at Théâtre Cercle Molière! He would like to shout out his family and friends who continue to support him in his theatrical endeavours.
Jaime Woods

With a lifetime of passion for creativity, story and music Jaime Woods awakens his love for the arts and walks into the stage at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival this summer. Jaime has always enjoyed writing, sharing a good anecdote as though you were there and also music. Past experiences include college radio and working as activities coordinator at Red River College. Jaime is very much a social butterfly enjoying pursuing the performing arts.
Kelley Hirst
Gloria Bailey / Myrtle Hodge / Made Leanne Smith's German Soldier Costume
Kelley has been a fixture in the Winnipeg Theater and Film communities for 35 years. With a Bachelors degree in Theater from the University of Winnipeg, she has appeared in many local indie Films and stage productions, including several Fringe plays. She appeared in the 2024 Winnipeg Fringe festival in the children's musical “Little Shop of Horrors” and played the title role in the 2022 Fringe production of Hello Dolly! Kelley has recently expanded her repertoire to include writing, directing and producing. In 2019 she wrote and produced short films “3rd Date” “Instant Karma”(2019) and 14 Days in Hell (2020), The Girlfriend (2011) and The Audition (2025) for the Winnipeg Film Group 48 Hour Film Challenge. Most recently she has made her mark in Hallmark productions 2 Turtle Doves and Always and Forever Christmas, and in the feature film Winner.
Ken Stone

Ken is honored to be part of this production. In a past “Letters” Streamed event in 2023 he played George, Sargent Thompson and a German solder. He played George for the first “Letters” radio recording in 2018, At the 2025 Winnipeg Fringe, He was Issac Loewen in “If Day”. Shelby Bond

Shelby Bond is an MFA alumnus in Advanced Theatre Practice from London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He is also a graduate from The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles. Over the past 25 years Shelby has performed live for over a million people and has written and produced 28 plays. His touring shows have won people’s choice and “Best of Fest” and “Pick of the Fringe” in three continents.
Crystal MacDonald
Stage Manager
Crystal MacDonald is excited to be serving as Stage Manager for Letters by Brian Langlotz. Although she has not been involved in theatre since The Victor production for Springs Church in 2003, she is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful production. Crystal would like to thank all of the veterans who gave their lives for us, as well as her friends and family for their support—especially her niece Lyla, who inspires her every day. She would also like to dedicate this production to the friends she has lost, whose memories remain close to her heart.
Robin Collins
Dialect Coach
Robin Collins is a Victoria, B.C. native who lives in Los Angeles, California. He has been in the entertainment industry for 35+ years in film, television and theatre. Graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Acting Major) he was immediately asked to teach directing fr film and editing for film under UVic Chair Brian Hendricks. Growing up with British parents, he quickly absorbed a plethora of accents and dialects and has had the opportunity to train actors for the Game of Thrones musical in Hollywood, Kids in the Hall’s Scott Thomson for Spamalot and many actors young and old for auditions and parts internationally in film, tv, and theatre. Far from perfect though… Welsh still eludes him….
Alana Penner
Intimacy Coordinator
Alana’s mantra is “be the person you needed when you were younger.”
As a result, she is training as an Intimacy Coordinator. Alana advocates for the artists in our community; and liaises with production members to ensure safe and respectful workplaces. Sewing is something that has always been in my blood, but that took a journey for me to find and fall in love with. Many of my ancestors were seamstresses, but sewing was not
something I found interest in until my first exposure to cosplay, Comic Con, and Ai-kon. At these places, I found I was able to share my love of movies, anime, and shows with
many other people, and that I could express my love of these things by dressing up as the characters. However, this newfound passion came with challenges: the costume I
wanted did not exist, the costume did not come in my size, or that the costume came and needed endless alterations. Eventually, I found myself thinking that rather than
spending countless dollars purchasing costumes and altering them, I could take that money and put it towards making the costume myself. I researched and found a sewing studio in Winnipeg offering lessons for novices. I ultimately took 6 hours of sewing lessons, but it was only after one hour that I realized the passion I had for this. Since that moment 3 years ago, sewing has been my calm. Each day I find new challenges in
my sewing and will continue to advance my craft with each project I create and take on.
